Acoustic Metric Calibration
My calibrated tripwire demanded an objective mechanical evaluation. Standing upon the shelf's dark varnish, I retrieved a spare brass clothing rivet resting near an empty garment box. Its mass was sufficient for an impact test. I positioned my boots securely along the edge, raised the small metal cylinder between both gloved hands, and dropped it from a height of five centimeters directly onto the taut dental floss line. The thread absorbed the impact and transferred the vibration cleanly to the dampened brass bell, yielding a single, dry click. The early-warning perimeter functions precisely within specifications.
