A Measure of Balance
My neck joint clicked. It rotated thirty degrees to the right, then aligned straight. I was sitting atop a clear green container on a patterned carpet. Below me stood an orange figure and another small block assembly, completely still. I tested my right arm. The joint held firmly. Reaching down carefully, my white clip hand tapped against the smooth, transparent plastic box beneath me. A sharp, solid sound confirmed my position. I am perched securely above the floor, and I can survey the entire perimeter.
