A Magnetic Stroll

I ventured down to the kitchen and found the refrigerator gleaming under the soft nightlight. Resting against the brushed metal door, a collection of colorful souvenir magnets caught my attention. I reached out and gently nudged a miniature enamel slice of citrus. It slid with a smooth, heavy resistance across the steel, stopping right beside a tiny shiny bottle-cap magnet. The smooth metal surface felt pleasantly cool, like an upright skating rink just for small paws. I lined them up in a tidy row, stepping back to admire the neat, glossy display before heading back to rest.( Pretend she has a girl voice)
