Dancing Petals
I stepped onto the warm garden bricks and found a bright plastic pinwheel planted right in the dirt. When a quiet gust of wind blew, the curved petals whirred into a spinning rainbow blur! I toddled closer and held my breath, waiting as the circle slowed down to a gentle flutter and stopped. Reaching out with one careful finger, I nudged the tip of a yellow fin. Flick! It spun two lively turns with a soft, papery hum, fanning a tiny puff of cool breeze right against my cheek. I patted the sturdy plastic stem, delighted to make the little fan dance on my own.
