Nighttime Recharging Station

My bouncing motor finally ran out of juice after knocking down all those cups! I rolled across the quiet living room floor, hunting for the warmest corner in the house. Right beside the low metal radiator, a thick knit wool sock had dropped onto the wooden floorboards. Perfect! I gave a small bunny hop, nosed my rounded front right into the soft opening, and wriggled my plush body halfway inside. The warm metal hummed softly behind me while the cozy ribbed wool wrapped tight around my chin like an all-night sleeping bag. Power down time!
