The Rolling Sock Egg

I scrambled across the living room rug and tumbled right into a giant ball of rolled-up bright orange fuzzy socks! It looked like a giant soft egg sitting on the floorboards! Curious, I planted my front webbed feet firmly against the fuzzy loops and gave it a big bouncy heave. Oomph! The thick bundle rolled forward, picking up speed across the polished floorboards like an orange bowling ball! I chased right behind it, giving quick little shoves with my flat green base until it bumped gently against the baseboard with a soft thud. My belly screen flared into frantic bright turquoise ripples, lighting up the orange fuzz in neon splashes!
