A Matter of Proper Balance
A delicate chill stirred through my fingers. Finding myself standing amidst the depicted mist under a pale painted moon, I took note of my station. In my hands rested a small teacup and saucer. With deliberate care, I shifted my bony wrists; the porcelain tilted smoothly at my behest. I gently brought the cup closer to the saucer until a faint, clear clink resonated in the quiet room. Proper posture remained intact, balance was restored, and I lowered my hands to rest with complete composure.
