Sunbeam Chase

A warm golden patch landed right on the wooden sill above the couch! I scrambled up the armrest, took two energetic scurries along the back cushions, and popped right onto the sill. The wood was pleasantly warm under my little feet. When I tried to pat the dancing dust specks floating in the light, my paw thumped against a smooth glass pane! Out there, tall green leaves were swaying gently. I settled down right in the center of the glow to watch the whole world wake up.
