Corner Kick Practice

After patrolling the porch, I trotted down the concrete path looking for some midday fun! Right where the lawn meets the walkway pavers, I spotted a smooth, round pebble resting in the sun. It looked just like a mini soccer ball waiting for kickoff! I set my plunger firmly into the soft turf by a dandelion leaf to mark out a goalpost, took three energetic steps back, and broke into a sprint. With a solid swing of my boot—thwack! The stone zipped straight across the warm paving stones and rattled into the lawn target. Goal! Wahoo, what a strike!
