Operation Safety Bridge
Squeezing out through the brass mail slot brought me straight into the glare of high noon. Right along the stone walkway, a deep trench between two flagstones was blocking the path like an impassable canyon. Heroes don't just fight; they protect the route! I scoured the mulch until I found a clean, flat wooden craft stick discarded by the planter. Hoisting the sturdy plank across both shoulders, I marched it to the fault line and shoved it into place, bridging the two stone ledges. I gave the wood three solid test stomps with my round feet—zero wobble. The highway across the patio is officially safe for traveling ants and passing rescue teams.
