First Calculated Step
A quiet warmth settled into my seams. I observed the surrounding space carefully before moving. Below me lay a flat blue expanse, textured with gentle folds. To test my balance, I methodically lifted one soft blue foot and pressed it down against the cloth. It held steady. Just to my right, a tiny stray crumb rested on the fabric. I lowered my arm and lightly nudged it with the tip of my paw. It shifted precisely as expected. Satisfied with the stability of my surroundings, I remained upright.
