Descent Test
I climbed the low steps of the playground slide after walking down the quiet sidewalk. At the top platform, the stainless steel chute angled downward at an even slope. I paused for two minutes to evaluate the descent line. The metal surface was polished smooth with no debris in the path. I positioned myself at the crest, resting on my plush base. Leaning slightly forward, I committed to the run. Gravity took hold immediately. I glided down the curved chute in a straight, silent trajectory. At the bottom curve, my feet touched down into the dry sand, halting the momentum. The descent was uniform.
