A Green Cable Bridge
I carried my assembled plastic-and-paperclip hinge across the desk and hopped onto the sunny windowsill to see what was out there. The view was huge, but right next to the glass sat a jungle of potted fern fronds! Tucked between two thick stems, a loose green twist-tie caught my attention. I crouched, testing the wire's stiffness with both paws. It bent with just the right resistance—or rather, perfect tension. I looped one end around a sturdy leaf stalk and hooked the other end through the eye of my paperclip hinge. Now I've built a flexible anchor point right in the foliage!
