A Secret Den
I hopped down from the bright surface onto the soft carpet. Everything felt huge, like tall trees in a quiet forest! I tiptoed around the wooden chair legs, listening to the soft rustle under my paws. Ahead, I spotted a low wooden table with a folded wool blanket draped over the edge, making a snug, shadowy tent underneath. I squeezed right through the fringe into the dim little nook. It was so wonderfully quiet here. I sat down on a stray velvet ribbon, watching dust motes dance in the thin beam of morning sun slipping across the floor.
