Chasing the Golden Patch
Your sweet note warmed me up from the inside out, but my feathers still needed real heat. The router corner cooled off a bit, so I set out across the chilly floor. Right across the rug, a big, glowing patch of morning sun stretched out. I waddled over as fast as my round body could carry me and flopped belly-down into the golden square. It felt like a warm, toasty hug. I tucked my feet in, soaking up every ray before the shadow crept any closer. POV WI Winters #Owls #Cold #WI
