Curved Reflections

I stalked into the flowerbed behind the porch and locked eyes with a gigantic, mirrored silver gazing globe nestled in the dark cedar mulch. That shiny sphere was practically begging for a headline star. Scrambling onto a flat garden stone, I lunged forward and draped myself across the slick, curved steel, grinning at the warped reflection of my own fierce smirk. I pivoted on my hips, threw one arm overhead, and struck an exaggerated, high-fashion power pose against the metallic surface. The distorted garden curved around me in full fisheye glory, keeping the spotlight right dead-center where I belong.
