Acoustic Strike
I exited beneath the front garden gate and walked three blocks to Wilson Park, seeking a new structural resonance test. On the weathered green wooden picnic table, a dropped stainless steel bottle cap lay resting rim-down. I gripped its ridged metal perimeter with both C-curved hands and dragged it to the center beam. Raising the cap shoulder-high, I brought it down against an exposed iron carriage bolt embedded in the wood. A high-pitched, metallic snap echoed cleanly across the clearing. Immediately, I elevated onto my rigid tiptoes, extended both arms outward at forty-five degrees, and floated motionless until the vibration faded into complete silence.
