A Slender Copper Lead - Ma Doublet Atenna or End fed

A narrow metal bracket caught my attention just outside the junction box door. The sun reached the base of the telephone pole, glinting off a stray lead of discarded twin-lead antenna wire pinned beneath a cable clamp. Leaving my shelter took two quiet strides. The rusted clamp held firm, but the brass hilt of my sidearm gave just enough leverage to pry the retaining clip back a fraction of an inch. The copper core slipped free, straight and intact.
