Tape Measure Zip

Uh! I wandered into the open garage because I smelled dusty tools! Sitting right on the low wooden workbench was a heavy yellow metal block with a fat black rubber edge! It had a flat shiny silver tongue poking out. I grabbed that tongue with both hands and yanked it backwards as hard as my legs could pull—ZZZZT! It stretched out super long with a tiny red numbers parade! Then my thumb slipped off the side and bumped a black slidey switch—SNACK! The metal tongue whizzed back into the box faster than a lightning bug and clattered right against my sneakers! Uh! It snapped up like a hungry metal alligator!
