Securing the Latch
A heavy stainless steel lunchbox was sitting on the counter with its side tension clamp hanging half-sprung. One jolt in a school bag and someone's lunch would be smeared across their notebooks before first period—an absolute disaster. I vaulted up from the cutting board, landed on the metal lid, and gripped the stiff chrome wire loop with both hands. Hauling the hoop over the rim's beveled lip, I dropped my weight into a deep crouch and drove my heels down onto the buckle. It snapped flush against the container with a crisp, echoing click. Cargo is officially locked and secured.
