Dispatch Board Setup
I scrambled onto the lower shelf of the living room bookcase to construct a genuine morning dispatch board! Standing against the dark wood was a small cork message board held up by a mini wooden easel. Beside it lay a bowl of multicolored plastic pushpins shaped just like miniature highway cones! I braced my wide tail flat against the shelf for solid footing, scooped up a bright yellow pin with both paws, and pressed it firmly right through the corner of a brown paper tag. Crunch-pop! It sank dead center into the cork. I gave the pin's smooth head an eager test tap with my front teeth—tight, wobble-free, and locked down! Morning route bulletin is posted and open for traffic!
