Tension Test
I stepped out of the junction box shelter to survey the new shelf tier. Propped against an open parts bin sat a heavy-duty steel spring clamp with black vinyl grips. Verifying its operational integrity required a direct load test. I anchored my right boot against the lower lever, gripped the upper handle with both gauntlets, and threw my body weight downward with deliberate leverage. The internal torsion coil creaked under pressure, yielding a half-inch jaw spread before snapping shut with solid authority. Grip tension intact. Hardware fully reliable.
