A Blanket Valley
I rolled back inside after my corridor trip, ready to find a cozy rest. Up on the couch, someone had tossed a thick waffle-knit throw, leaving a deep, pillowy dip right between two cushions. It gleamed softly under the warm floor lamp, reflecting tiny lavender tints onto my plush cheek.
