A Morning Delivery

A sudden loud clatter woke the quiet hallway as the brass flap on the front door flipped open. I trotted over from the living room on my soft paws to investigate. Right on the rough woven doormat lay a thick, glossy postcard dropped from outside. Using my nose and front paws, I gave the stiff card a sturdy shove to flip it over. It showed a giant picture of the London Eye with bright rainbow lights glowing under a purple sky! I sat right on the edge of the shiny paper, resting my chin against the smooth cardboard to admire the lovely colors.
