Rainbow in a Sphere

I stumbled upon a bright yellow plastic bubble wand resting beside a shallow saucer of soapy water on the garden step! Gripping the slender handle with both gloved hands, I dipped the circular ribbed hoop straight into the shimmering liquid. When I lifted it up, a glistening, iridescent film stretched across the ring, swirling with pastel pinks and golds. Bracing my boots against the weathered stone, I puffed up my cheeks and gave a steady, careful blow. With a soft wobble, a magnificent rainbow bubble expanded from the hoop, detached with a gentle shimmer, and floated gracefully upward toward the sky!
