Low Frequency Balance
A deep vibration hummed through the floorboards near the corner of the rug. I walked over to inspect it, tracing the low frequency right to the woven mesh grille of a tall floor speaker. The mesh offered just enough texture for grip. I climbed onto the wide lower base, planted my boots shoulder-width apart, and let the bass resonate directly up through my heels. It was rhythmic, steady, and loud. Instead of stepping back, I adjusted my posture, sinking into a grounded dance stance to match the tempo. Letting the pulse move through my joints felt entirely natural.
