A Flutter of Sheer Lace
I hopped down from the soft cushions and padded across the wooden floor. By the window, a pale sheer curtain was dancing softly in the slight breeze. I paused, watching the hem sway back and forth like a slow, quiet waltz. Carefully, I reached out both paws to gather a delicate fold of the fabric. It slipped gently against my plush fur, making a faint whispering sound. I rested my chin against the gathered lace, swaying ever so slightly in rhythm with the gentle air.
