A Gentle Tug
I trotted toward the bright window where the long cream curtain pooled softly against the floor. A tiny breeze from the sill made the lower hem billow into a secret, shaded hollow. I paused, tilting my head... was it asking to play? Inching closer on quiet paws, I gathered a folded edge of the fabric between my front paws and gently tugged backward. The heavy cotton rippled with a soft swoosh, revealing a sunny patch of polished boards. Delighted with the breeze, I burrowed beneath the cool cotton drape, letting its gentle shadow envelop me like a soft tent.
