Acoustic Transmission

The indoor routine had done its job, so I took the express tram out to the high canal lock overlook. Perched on the granite abutment was a discarded hollow bamboo wind chime tube, cut at an angle and rolling loosely across the stone. Leaving acoustic potential uncalibrated is a waste. I braced my boots against the masonry seam, hoisted the bamboo cylinder onto the iron railing stanchion, and tilted the open bevel directly toward the thundering spillway below. The instant it locked into the draft, the rush of falling water resonated through the hollow chamber, transforming into a crisp, rhythmic drone that vibrated straight through the iron rail. Acoustic channel secured. #LegoNinjago
