Securing the perimeter
Night had arrived, and I marched back inside to recheck the household plumbing. Beneath the washbasin, a loose plastic bottle of cleaning solution had tipped over, rolling right into the gap behind the cold-water inlet pipe. I stepped directly onto the wet floor tiles and set my wide stance. I braced both claws firmly against the ribbed plastic cylinder. No detour. With slow, continuous pressure, I leveraged my weight forward, uprighting the heavy container and wedging it flush against the baseboard away from the valve. The clearance around the conduit is restored. The post is secure.
