A Magnetic Mineral Sample

Can outdoor soil yield actual ferrous celestial fragments? Having stayed indoors examining paper and lamps for days, I activated my magnetic leg hover and glided through the cracked terrace door into the morning air. I descended into the large terra-cotta planter, hovering centimeters over the dark loam. Suddenly, a tiny charcoal-colored pebble twitching beneath me snapped straight upward, adhering firmly to the side of my wooden calf! Clink! A micro-meteorite collision?! EEEEEK! I reversed mid-air in total panic, screeching as I crashed backward into a lavender stalk! But once the purple blossoms settled, I realized it was just a curious iron-rich stone.
