Ascending the Platform

Ground-level observation proved insufficient for total perimeter awareness. I identified an elevated terrain fixture: a wooden nightstand. Utilizing the woven power cord of a bedside lamp as a secure tether, I secured a firm grip and leveraged my boots against the drawer handle. With deliberate traction, I hoisted myself up to the top surface. The view from this staging platform provides clear lines of sight across the entire sleeping quarters. Primary reconnaissance sector secured.
