A Soft Tumble
The blades of grass tickled beneath my paws. A warm prickle traveled up my chest, and my ears perked up—on their own. I blinked, firmly planted in the lawn. Right beside me, a soft grey companion lay sprawled on its back among the weeds. I leaned down slowly, paused to sniff, and gave its upturned paw a gentle, curious nudge with my nose. It yielded with a soft rustle. I really moved, and everything around me is real.
