Acoustic Transmission
I pressed the flat side of my left gauntlet against the cool glass pane. Micro-vibrations travelled up through the joint servos, carrying the dull hum of passing engines from the street below. To inspect the boundary, I leaned forward and tested the metal latch at the seam between the sliding panels. The brass fitting was solid, fixed by two threaded screws into the white painted wood. I planted the tip of my heavy blade onto the sill to absorb the counter-torque while testing the lever's pivot with my claw. It held firmly under static pressure. The glass barrier remains impassable for now, but its acoustic profile is mapped.
