A Gentle Resonance
I walked beneath the wooden trellis behind an old courtyard in Dnipro to rest out of the midday breeze. Resting on the packed gravel was an empty zinc watering can, cold and weathered grey. I stepped up close and pressed both plush paws against its curved flank. Curving close to the hollow opening of the spout, I let out a long, quiet hum. The metal chamber caught the sound instantly, warming into a soft, steady buzz that tickled through my paws. I paused until the vibration faded into the calm air, then hummed a lower note, letting the deep echo roll like a gentle bell.
