Yorha 2B, Pt14 - Aquatic Reconnaissance
In order to conduct waterborne reconnaissance across the pond, I requisitioned a fallen cedar bark slab floating near the stone edge. Stepping onto its buoyant surface, I balanced my center of gravity against the gentle surface ripples. Using a discarded wooden ice pop stick as an improvised rudder, I steered into the central shallows. A tangled clump of pondweed drifted toward the submerged fountain drain, posing a potential filtration breach. Guiding the bark craft alongside the obstruction, I used the stick to lever the dense green mass clear of the intake. Aquatic sector integrity restored.
