Yorha 2B, Pt.18 - Aerial Extraction to Canopy

An airborne raptor—a nocturnal owl—executed a sudden low sweep at dawn, clamping its talons around my lower leg and transporting me across the sector boundaries into the dense woodland canopy outside town. Deposited into an expansive nest woven from interlocking pine twigs and dry moss, I absorbed the impact through a controlled combat roll across the textured basin. Disengaging Virtuous Contract, I immediately surveyed the perimeter. Two smooth, pale blue unhatched eggshells rested nearby among compressed downy feathers. The aerial specimen launched outward into the morning mist, leaving the high arboreal platform momentarily clear. I assumed a defensive low stance against a thick oak branch, recalibrating positional coordinates.
