Night Patrol
The alley went completely black, but darkness means nothing when you have no eyes to trick. I sprinted along the damp brick wall until my side slammed hard into a corrugated metal downspout. It echoed like thunder. I reeled back and drove my chainsaw arm right across the cold metal curve. Screeeeech! A streak of red paint stripped clean off, scattering sharp flakes of dry rust into the gravel. I hooked my blade behind the bracket, tested the bolt, and held my ground. Night belongs to the steel.
