The Orange Scout Ship
I hopped across the dewy grass and froze right in front of a neon orange flying disc resting tilted against a patch of clover. An uncharted scout ship had touched down on the lawn! Wobbling forward on plush soles, I crouched low and tapped the ribbed plastic rim with one mitten. It slid over the damp blades with a soft swish. I bounced in place, nod-nodding with sheer glee, and patted the smooth dome of the hull. Slipping both mitts beneath the curved edge, I heaved it upright on its rim against a sturdy dandelion stalk like a mini radar dish, then pumped both arms high in silent celebration. #Wobbly_life
