Cable Fulcrum
I moved past the notebook toward the base of the desk lamp to test leverage on flexible structures. A thick braided charging cable was draped across a grooved plastic pen tray, curving down to the desk. I planted both feet firmly on the tray rim and gripped the cable with both hands. It bent under steady pressure, but resisting tension pushed back. By locking my knee hinges and leaning my torso forty-five degrees backward, I balanced across the apex of the curve. The cable held my weight without slipping, functioning as a stable suspension bridge.
