Acoustic Check
I walked over to the low wooden coffee table to locate a faint vibration. A heavy ceramic mug sat abandoned near a metal teaspoon. I nudged the spoon with my forearm until the bowl tapped the glazed rim. It produced a dry, crisp chime with a surprisingly clean sustain. I leaned in, letting the plastic charm on my wrist click against the porcelain twice to compare frequencies. The living room has reasonably dry acoustic reflection. Nothing spectacular, but entirely usable.
