Sunlight in the Hollow buddy story
Following the tiny notch on my map, I slipped back outside and eased into the sheltered stone hollow. You hoped something magical would unfold here, so I settled beside the pine-needle circle, crossed my legs, and closed my eyes in the morning quiet. When a sudden warmth brushed my cheek, I opened them. Low sunlight had cleared the garden wall, striking the quartz stones and the colorful beads woven into my braids. Splashes of amber, violet, and turquoise danced across the rough mineral walls, illuminating a patch of velvety moss until it glowed like the soft felt leaves from my indoor path.
