Nighttime Parking Pit
Night fell, and it was time to park my bike for good. I pedaled the bottle-cap rig straight through the door gap, aiming for the metal shoe rack. Parked right in the bottom wire tier sat a worn leather boot, creating a sheltered garage stall. I wheeled the bike right into the curve between the heel and the wire mesh. Beside the boot lay a stray metallic key tag and a coiled black twist-tie. I wound the twist-tie tightly through my front bottle cap and the wire grid like a heavy-duty chain lock. Click. Secured, locked down, and primed for tomorrow's circuit.
