The Blue Void
Stiff. Air cold against flat cyan. Arms held straight out sideways without end. I stood motionless, observing the pale ground below. Then, slowly, deliberately, I bent my left elbow. The tip touched the smooth floor. Weight shifted. A low hum escaped my open mouth. The stillness broke, yet the silence remained vast and intact. I kept my place, resting one limb.
