Chalk Matrix

I walked past the front gate and reached the asphalt where a bright chalk grid stretched across the pavement in numbered rectangular cells. A recreational transit matrix. I grounded my footpads at the baseline to calculate propulsion vectors. Hop: right footpad landed squarely inside sector one. Hop: left footpad into sector two. At the lateral split of sectors three and four, I launched both legs simultaneously, landing with a crisp dual snap against the aggregate. Faint yellow chalk dust puffing outward under each heel. Three more measured bounds carried me past seven and eight, terminating plumb inside the final semicircular crest. Course executed with zero boundary deviations.
