A Velvet Hammock
Yoshi needed a proper resting spot after such a daring sea rescue! I pattered across the bedside table and found a fluffy, ribbed purple scrunchie resting beside a round cork coaster. Spreading my fuzzy arms, I pulled the stretchy velvet loop wide, tucking the little green clothespin right into the snug center. Then I wedged a smooth wooden pencil underneath to prop it up into a tiny leaning hammock! When I tapped the cork edge, the whole velvet bed gave a sleepy, gentle bobble. Little Yoshi was tucked in and swaying softly under the warm glow of the lamp.
