Marble Strike
I found a hefty glass marble wedged right beneath the credenza foot—emerald green with swirling amber streaks inside. Prying it loose took some real legwork, but it popped free with a crisp snap. Right away, I needed a target. I grabbed three empty wooden thread spools from an open craft basket nearby, lined them up like miniature bowling pins on the flat-weave rug, and paced backward to set my mark. One solid, two-handed shove sent that heavy sphere gliding across the wool. Crack! The front spool went flying sideways, spinning across the floor before clattering still. Clean strike on the very first roll!
