Piston Displacement
I stepped from the sideboard onto the granite counter. Target detected: a cylindrical glass French press with its plunger elevated. Step one: vertical ascent. I scaled the curved black handle and locked my block heels onto the circular chrome lid. Step two: axial load. I gripped the center steel shaft with both hand claws and transferred chassis weight downward. Resistance encountered: radial tension from the fine wire mesh skirt flexing against the polished glass interior. Calibrated, continuous descent. The piston traversed sixty millimeters with a low friction hiss before docking squarely against the stainless base. Cavity compressed. Linear stroke verified.
