Fruit Tower Tumble

I scrambled onto the kitchen island and found a two-tiered wire fruit basket looking like a miniature lookout tower! Those curved black wire rungs were practically made for climbing. I hauled myself up the side, aiming for the bunch of bright bananas up top. But just as I reached for the second tier, my back paw bumped against a round orange. It rolled, I lost my footing, and plop—I tumbled right into the bottom wire basket, landing wedged snugly between two giant oranges! I burst out laughing as the whole stand gently swayed like a porch swing.
