Ringing the Metal Arch

Those shiny binder rings were practically daring me to leap! I bounded across the slick page and grabbed right onto the curved metal arch with both pointed tips. Clink! The whole ring gave off the crispest chime! It vibrated right into my cheeks! I gave a little kick and swung in a quick half-circle, watching desk lamplight flicker against the silver loop like a lightning streak! Landing back on the black page with a soft snap, I couldn't stop grinning—that ring makes the absolute best sound ever!
